Start with the essentials

A useful brand kit reduces repeated decisions. Keep the correct logo, colors, type direction and a short description of the brand voice together.

Use a few clear examples of wording that fits the brand and wording that does not. Defaults should help a creator start—not make every ad identical.

Store product facts separately

Brand voice is a creative preference. Ingredients, usage instructions, offers and approved benefit statements are product facts. Keep their sources and limits clear.

Give each product and variant its own approved information. Do not apply a claim from one product across a whole collection.

Keep permissions with the asset

Record who owns the media, what consent applies and which uses are allowed. A thumbnail alone cannot tell a teammate whether a clip may be edited, exported or sent to an external provider.

Keep original files and reference material distinct. A competitor ad may inspire a structure, but it is not automatically licensed footage for your output.

Review Brand Library

Set defaults, not hidden commitments

Preferred ratios, caption styling and voice direction can make a brief easier to start. Show the actual settings in the draft before production.

A brand kit cannot guarantee that every model will reproduce packaging, typography or color accurately. Review the output against the approved source material.

Reuse context without merging access

In the shared-studio design, label projects with the correct brand and invite reviewers only to the projects they need. A shared studio does not mean every member can see every project.

When approved facts or assets change, review the drafts that use them. Preserve already-produced versions instead of silently replacing their history.

Put the kit into the next brief

Bring the relevant product facts and approved media into a single creative task. Review any inherited defaults, then decide what this ad needs.
